Hello everybody my name is John Malozsak and welcome back to Suburban Snacks. We have a new snack this month…candy corn! In this episode, we’ll be going over the nationwide epidemic that is home buyer burnout! According to the National Association of Realtors, they found that existing-home sales are down 1.5% compared to a year ago. And what’s interesting is that they found sales to be down in all four major regions of the U.S. So we know for a fact that this is not market-specific but something that the nation as a whole is experiencing. There are a couple reasons why home sales are slowing. First, some buyers are deciding to put their search on hold while home prices continue to rise. They’d rather give the market a couple of months to see what it’s going to do so that they can make a better-informed decision. And the second reason is that many buyers are finding fewer home listings. As prices continue to increase, the supply of homes doesn’t seem to be moving along with it.
